How to apply:

Step 1: Insert a piece of bread or ham—or any other meal that rats like—deeply into the cage.

Step 2: Use the DC-6V power adaptor directly or insert four batteries.

Step 3: Locate an area where rats are present and search for worn paths or trails. Rats like to follow walls, so set the unit on the floor against one. Make sure the opening is parallel to the track.

Step 4: Turn the switch to the "On" setting. When the unit is turned on, a green LED will blink to show that it has been turned on. Steer clear of metal plates to prevent accidental electric shocks. When the device is operating, avoid touching its bottom.
